Gompa Construction Project

Phases 1 & 2 Completed- Help us complete Phase 3!

Under the direction of Venerable Lama Karma Dorje, Phases 1 & 2 of The KSK Gompa (Pavilion or Meditation Hall) – the exterior – were completed as planned, in time for the visit of H.E. Kalu Rinpoche in September 2011.  The next phase is the interior, including walls, plumbing, heating, floors, etc.  We look forward to a truly non-denominational space for various events – In addition to KSK events, the gompa will be available to many other groups. We envision a vibrant site for community meditations for peace and healing, yoga and T'ai Chi, study and support groups, film screenings, book signings, as well as use by various community groups.

To complete the final stage of the Pavilion we need to raise an additional $75,000.  We are asking for 75 donors who will contribute $1,000 each.  A plaque inside the completed Gompa will acknowledge these generous supporters.  Donations may also be made on someone else’s behalf or as a memorial.  Two or more donors may donate together to complete a $1,000 offering. We are grateful to all of our donors (of money, time, and/or services) who have helped make Lama Dorje’s vision a reality by contributing to this project and to the many Bodhisattva activities of the center.

If you are inspired to be one of our major contributors, you may donate on line by clicking the DONATE button at left and following instructions.  You may also send a donation to KSK Buddhist Center Gompa Fund, 3777 KSK Lane, Santa Fe, NM 87507.  Of course, you may always donate in any amount according to your capacity. May our offerings contribute to the enlightenment of all sentient beings!
