Green Tara, the remover of obstacles and swift liberator, is beloved by Tibetans and Western Buddhists alike. Her compassion, generosity, and fearlessness make her accessible to all practitioners. This class will cover the philosophical and practical aspects of Vajrayana visualization and mantra practice for Green Tara sadhana. Fred Cooper, Ph.D., president of the KSK Board, is a close disciple of H .E. Khentin T’ai Situpa Rinpoche. Fred has received Mahamudra Transmissions from H.E. Kalu Rinpoche and V.V. Mingyur Rinpoche and taught at Kagyu Centers in Boston, Washington D.C., Providence RI and Santa Fe for over 20 years. He has been Program Director for Theoretical Physics at the National Science Foundation and is currently associated with the Santa Fe Institute and LANL.
