About KSK Buddhist Center
KSK aspires to spread compassionate consciousness through the teachings of the Buddha and Bodhisattvas. We follow the Shangpa Kagyu and Karma Kagyu lineages of Tibetan Buddhism. Our senior resident teacher, Venerable Lama Karma Dorje, has guided the center since 1982, and has recently been joined by Venerable Lama Mingma Sherpa from the Samdrub Darjay Choling Monastery in Sonada, India.
KSK offers regular weekly chanting meditation practices (Chenrezig, Green Tara, Chöd), Sunday sitting meditation, and monthly Mahakala, New Moon and Full moon practices. (Check schedule).
The Bodhi Stupa, the focus of the center, is open to the public by request and during practices and teachings. Groups may schedule a visit to the stupa. We are currently building a gompa on the site and improving grounds so we can expand our activities.
Our retreat room is available for weekly rental and we have rooms and studio apartments on site that are occasionally available. You may call us at 505-471-5336 or e-mail us at nobletruth@earthlink.org for more information.
Finally, thank you for using our Donate button at left. Because of your support, we are able to continue the Bodhisattva activities of the center, provide teachings and practices, organize events, maintain grounds and buildings, and build the gompa. Donating through PayPal is safe and secure and donations are tax deductible.
