This is a very special time in the Buddhist calendar: Saga Dawa Duchen, one of the four great holy days in the Buddhist year, commemorates Buddha Shakyamuni’s appearance, enlightenment, and parinirvana. Occurring with an eclipse, this is an especially auspicious time for spiritual practice

KSK provides a place for study and practice of the Buddhadharma under the guidance of Venerable Lama Karma Dorje, Venerable Lama Mingma Sherpa, and other qualified teachers.
The center regularly sponsors visits from Buddhist masters of all lineages. Public meditations are held several times a week. Special events are announced on this website, Facebook, and Twitter.
Apartments and retreat rooms may be rented, depending on availability.
